Hi, I’m shaina pleva.

Why I Do This Work

I became a therapist because no one should suffer in silence. You’re never too far gone, never too much, and never too late to build a life you love.

My approach

Healing isn’t linear. Every step—no matter how small—is a testament to your strength. I’m here to walk beside you as you take those steps.

At Hope and Resilience Therapy, healing begins with connection. Whether you're navigating stress, grief, trauma, or uncertainty, this is a space where you’ll feel seen, heard, and supported. Through compassionate, evidence-based care, we’ll work together to build resilience and rediscover hope, peace, and purpose.

You’ve already survived the hardest parts. Now let’s move into the part where you get to live.

Outside the therapy space, you’ll find me where things are real and restorative:

  • Surrounded by my five cats 🐈 (yes, five!)

  • Soaking in the stillness of nature

  • Reading something insightful, soul-stretching, or just beautifully written

  • Painting vibrant barn quilts—my own way of bringing color and tradition together

  • Strength-training or moving my body to stay grounded and energized

These things keep me centered—and remind me that joy can live right alongside the hard stuff.
